I can go on and on about how good Yoga is for you and you can say to yourself you know that it is good and you really want to try it but haven’t got the time or space in your life at the moment to do it…I know because I’ve done the same thing. Believe me, it’s only when you make that step for yourself and do a session with a teacher that you realise you should have started sooner!
Hi, my name is Smirti and I’m a Platinum Standard Yoga teacher, with 500 hours of Teacher Training.
I’ve been teaching since 2016.
I started on my Yoga Path over 15 years ago when as a mother of 2 boisterous, young boys I didn’t have the time or the inclination to look after myself and was continuously stressed and tired. With the help of Chi Kri Yoga Grand Master Neil Patel, I learnt to transform along with my growing children, from the stressed out mother, to a calm, content and healthy soul.
Yoga has given me the strength and Will Power to do many things I otherwise would have thought impossible. I’m a qualified Padi Certified Diver, I’ve done a Parachute Jump for charity (I was afraid of heights) and ran the London Marathon in April 2016. With all the activities I used my practice of Breathing, Mind Yoga, Meditation and of course the physical Asanas to help me achieve what I thought was impossible for me.
I am learning so much during my own self development and I’d like to share what I’ve learnt and still continue to learn onto my students.
Everyone’s body type, lifestyle and objectives are different and there are several ways in which I can help you:
My classes do not require you to be flexible, strong or be a particular shape…they’re for regular people who want to grow strong, heal and get closer to their best selves. We will work together towards a sense of ease in your body, a deepening clarity of mind and a greater emotional balance.
